When should I use the intermediary bank details?
The Intermediary Bank details that we make available along with your international multi-currency account are extra information that you can use if you are going to receive payments in USD.
In SWIFT transfers, payments do not go directly from the sender bank to the beneficiary bank, they go through one or more intermediary banks.
Therefore, when you or your payer is filling out a payment form, in addition to asking for the beneficiary's details, there may be a field to inform an intermediary bank as well. That's where you can use that extra information!
If there is no intermediary bank field on the form, just leave it without that information.
Can I receive payments that are not related to provision of services?
At Husky, with a Corporate account, it is only possible to receive transfers related to the provision of services.
With an Individual account, in addition to payments for the provision of services, you can receive:
- Transfers between accounts of the same holder
- Transfers to financial dependents
- Sale of shares
- Stock Options
- Stock dividends
- Buy or sell land, housing, or building in Brazil or abroad
Some of these operations require specific documentation. We help you receive safely! Contact us through our support channels.
We do not support donations, loans, international goods trade, direct investment, related to cryptocurrencies, and reimbursements. If such a payment arrives at Husky, it will need to be returned to the originator. The transfer fee for returns is up to $60 (in the currency of the transaction) and is deducted from the amount to be returned.
Why doesn't Husky have a Routing Number?
The Routing Number is the identification code used in United States banks.
The bank of your Husky account is from Brazil, so we don't have that number.
Instead of the Routing Number, use the international bank identification code, called SWIFT or BIC.
If your payer's payment platform or bank is asking for the Routing Number, the transfer type must not be correct. Ask them to make an International Wire Transfer/SWIFT.
Does Husky provides bank statement?
No. Your Husky account is an international multi-currency account with IBAN and SWIFT, this means that your payments received by Husky are converted at the commercial exchange rate and sent directly to your Brazilian bank account.
Therefore, the document you should use for accounting is the statement or income report from the bank account in Brazil that you registered to receive your payments.
The document we provide is the receipt of each transfer, attached to the email "Money is Coming!"
This receipt has all the information that accounting needs: amount in foreign currency, fees, amount in reais that you will receive in your Brazilian account, date and origin of payment.
