The cost of receiving international payments through Husky varies depending on the value of your transfer:
- Payments below US$1,000 (one thousand US dollars): a single fee of US$10 (ten US dollars) is charged per conversion. Discount coupons are not applicable in this range.
- Payments above US$1,000 (one thousand US dollars): the cost is a maximum of 1% of the amount received. Your account fees and discount coupons, if any, are applicable.
The fee is deducted from the original amount in foreign currency. Then, we convert the amount using the commercial exchange rate.
Do I have to pay any other fees?
Not from our side.
It may happen that some institution charges a fee before your payment reaches Husky. This is not common, but if it happens, we will help you find out who charged and advise you on how to prevent it from happening again. For more information, access here.
In addition, the Brazilian government may charge a tax called IOF ("Imposto sobre Operações Financeiras"), depending on the type of transfer you are making. Access here to learn more.
