Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security you can enable on your account to protect it.
With two-factor authentication enabled, when logging into your account on the Husky Web app, in addition to your password, you will need to enter a verification code.
To enable this protection you need an authentication app installed on your phone.
How do I enable two-factor authentication on my Husky account?
-
Download one of the following authentication apps
Google Authenticator
Twilio Authy
Microsoft Authenticator
- In the Husky Web app, access the menu in the top right corner of the screen and click on Configurações
- At the screen Configurações de conta, click on Segurança
- Click on the icon to enable the verification
- Open your authentication app and scan the QR Code or enter the code that appears on the screen. The authentication app will generate a code that you must enter in the indicated field
- Save the generated recovery codes to use if you no longer have access to your cell phone
How do I log into my account after enabling two-factor authentication?
-
Enter your email and password as normal — this is the first part of authentication
- Enter the 6-digit code that appears in your authentication app
I lost access to my phone and didn't save the recovery codes. What do I do?
We can remove the two-factor authentication for you. For security reasons, we will confirm your identity. To request, contact us via chat or via email at friends@husky.io.
