What is the two-factor authenticator and how does it work?

Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security you can enable on your account to protect it.

With two-factor authentication enabled, when logging into your account on the Husky Web app, in addition to your password, you will need to enter a verification code.

To enable this protection you need an authentication app installed on your phone.

How do I enable two-factor authentication on my Husky account?

1. Download one of the following authentication apps

   Google Authenticator

   • iOS

   • Android

   Twilio Authy

   • iOS

   • Android

   Microsoft Authenticator

   • iOS
   • Android
     
     
2. In the Husky Web app, access the menu in the top right corner of the screen and click on Configurações
   
   
3. At the screen Configurações de conta, click on Segurança
   
   
4. Click on the icon to enable the verification
   
   
5. Open your authentication app and scan the QR Code or enter the code that appears on the screen. The authentication app will generate a code that you must enter in the indicated field
   
   
6. Save the generated recovery codes to use if you no longer have access to your cell phone

How do I log into my account after enabling two-factor authentication?

1. Enter your email and password as normal — this is the first part of authentication
   

2. Enter the 6-digit code that appears in your authentication app

I lost access to my phone and didn't save the recovery codes. What do I do?
